The manager of the Gunners, Mikel Arteta confirmed in his press conference that his team will face the Cherries on Saturday, September 30, 2023. He confirmed that the team might be without Declan Rice, Leandro Trossard, Gabriel Martinelli, and Bukayo Saka.

He also said that the team's defender, William Saliba has been struggling with a knock and could not be available for selection. Arteta responded to the question asked about Saliba and Fabio Vieria.

Bournemouth are the latest club in the league to sack its manager despite the efforts of Gary O'Neil to keep them in the Premier League. He took over as caretaker manager in August 2022 as a replacement for Scott Parker.

He picked up 36 points during his time in charge and guided the club to a 15th-placed finish in the Premier League. However, Bournemouth has confirmed the appointment of Andoni Iraola as the club's new head coach on a two-year deal.

Bournemouth confirmed the sack of Its manager, Scott Parker on its official website on Tuesday, August 30th, 2022. According to reports from the club, he was sacked after being accused of disrespecting the club after getting thrashed 9-0 by Liverpool.

Parker spoke about the club not having the ability to challenge other premier league clubs insisting Bournemouth is a young team. The club are currently placed 17th on the Premier League table following their 3-0 and 4-0 thrashing in the hands of Arsenal and Manchester City respectively.

Bournemouth confirmed the transfer on its Twitter account on Friday, August 20th, 2021. The 35-year-old spent two years with Crystal Palace from 2019 to 2021.

The chief executive of the club, Neill Blake, who was speaking on Bournemouth's website, believes Cahill is an excellent addition to the team, and he is going to bring a lot of experience to the younger players on the team.

Gary Cahill was the captain of the Chelsea team that won the Premier League in the 2016/17 season under Italian manager Antonio Conte.
