Barack Obama has once again shared his favorite music, movies, and books of 2023. Some naysayers have laid allegations that he doesn’t actually come up with hisfavorite lists.  According to the former president of the United States of America, he actually reads, watches, and listens to everything.

It's no surprise that the biggest Afrobeats songs were featured on the 44th President's favorite music list of 2023. The list hosts five of the biggest afrobeat songs of 2023 including 'Me & U' by Tems, 'Unavailable' by Davido and Musa Keys, 'Water' by Tyla, 'Sittin' on Top of the World' by Burna Boy and 21 Savage, 'Amapiano' by Asake and Olamide. This is a huge improvement compared to previous years where only 3 Nigerian artists were featured on his 2022 list.
