B-Red emphasized that online criticism is a normal part of life as a celebrity, saying, "If you don't get dragged, you never blow. Even the greats like Michael Jackson, if you post a picture, they'll abuse you. If you're famous, everybody must have something to say. So that's life."

This comes amidst the social media frenzy over a statement made by the 30 BG boss, Davido, regarding how the global trend of afrobeats started.

B-Red spoke about how Wizkid had reacted to hearing Davido's first song, Back When, on which he had featured rapper Naeto C stating that Wiz wanted to know more about the artist who sang the song.

B-Red went on to share that Davido had met Burna Boy following his trip to Port Harcourt, indicating that Burna had been excited to meet them. He revealed that Burna ran after their car and couldn't contain his excitement to meet them, adding that the African Giant had revealed that he was a fan of David then.

The singer said this in a video posted on Instagram on Friday, the 18th of June 2021. He said that when he started, he wasn't even singing. B-Red was just hyping his cousin, Davido and he wasn't humble. The HKN artist also stated that he later learned that humility was the way around the industry. In his words;

Just be humble in life. At first, when I started, I never even drop single. I just dey hype my cousin. I no dey humble. After a while, I was learning the industry. You have to be humble bro. Many artists wey don come up, I don see them go down many years. Many artists wey I dey look up to before, dem no fit stand by me now. Because of humbleness, dem no go hear word, Just be humble as you're making your money.
