Gabon and Chelsea FC forward star Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is poised to make his exit from Stamford Bridge in the summer 2023 transfer window according to recent reports.

The former Arsenal and Barcelona star is reportedly set to join the French Ligue 1 in a deal estimated to be worth over six million euros.

French Ligue 1 side Marseille has shown interest in offering the Gabonese a two-year deal that would see him remain at the side till 2026.

This would be a welcome move for Aubameyang whose return to the Premier League with Chelsea is one that would want to be forgotten by the player.

The quality of Auba is something that has remained consistent although he was not an option considered by Frank Lampard and Graham Potter who had a woeful run with the Blues in the 2022/2023 season.

From all indications, the former Barcelona star is not part of the plans of the new head coach at Chelsea Mauricio Pochettino.

Auba did not travel with the squad to the US to kick start the pre-season tour ahead of a new season.

The move to the south of France could be the catalyst Aubameyang needs to rediscover his form and reach new heights on the pitch. After a challenging period at Chelsea, where he struggled to make a significant impact, a fresh start at Marseille offers the perfect opportunity for him to showcase his skills and regain his confidence.

The change in environment, coupled with the support of his new teammates and coaching staff, could prove instrumental in unlocking his true potential once again.

Many had anticipated a move back to Barcelona, but from all indications, this is far from happening.

Barcelona striker who has been in the news following transfer speculations, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, has broken his silence after he suffered an assault in a robbery attempt in his home in Barcelona.

The striker was reported to have allegedly suffered a broken jaw in his attempt to ward off the attackers. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang took to social media today, Wednesday, August 31, 2022, to share a word with football fans worldwide who had been worried about his well-being.

He confirmed that his jaw had been injured, but he would be back to playing the sport he loves in no time. Aubameyang to Chelsea had been in the spotlight for a long time, and the news of the robbery attempt had left the football world shocked.

Negotiations between Chelsea and Barcelona are still ongoing as both clubs look to finalize the deal before the transfer window ends as Aubameyang might be returning to the premier league.

Arsenal and Gabon captain, Aubameyang has responded to the recent speculation about his current health condition after he was forced to cut his AFCON 2021 trip short and return to London after he was diagnosed with heart lesions when he tested positive for COVID-19 in the Gabon training camp.

Aubameyang had not appeared in any AFCON 2021 matches for Gabon since the tournament commenced on January 9th, 2022. He was then forced to return back to London for more medical examinations. The Arsenal front man took to Instagram to give football lovers who had expressed concerns about his health condition a reason not to worry. He had stated that he was in good health and was doing absolutely fine.

For now, it is uncertain if Aubameyang will return to Gabon's camp in Cameroon to help his country in the round of 16 fixture against Burkina Faso.

Arsenal's prolific striker, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, might be joining Serie A giants, Juventus, in the coming transfer window.

According to Italian outfit Tuttosport. Juventus is interested in Arsenal striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and could sign him in the January transfer window.

The Gabon international was recently stripped of the Arsenal captaincy following a disciplinary breach and the latest update on his situation in north London said how he has been told to train away from the rest of the first-team for an unspecified period. Spanish giants Barcelona are reportedly considering swapping Brazilian midfielder Philippe Coutinho for Arsenal's winger Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

According to Sky Sports, the Catalan club could consider the prospect of a swap deal that would bring Gabonese talisman Aubameyang to Camp Nou and send Coutinho to Arsenal.

Barcelona's President, Joan Laporta, recently revealed that the club has €1.35 billion in debt. Hence, the Blaugrana are looking at offloading some of their players who are taking a large chunk of the wages.
