The statue of Arsene Wenger lifting the Golden League title was erected outside the Stadium on Friday, July 28, 2023, for everyone to have a glimpse of the club's legend.

Wenger was the manager of the Gunners between October 1996 and May 2018, in which he led the club to three Premier League titles, including an unforgettable invincible season. He won seven FA Cup wins and qualified the team for 20 successive years in the UEFA Champions League.

In his first full season ( 1997/98) he became the first ever non-British manager to win the league title and also led the team to win the FA Cup in the same season. The Frenchman also won the league title in the 2001/02 and the 2003/04 season.

Manchester United's legend Sir Alex remains the most successful manager in Premier League history, winning the title 13 times. He will be remembered for winning the title for three seasons in a row on two separate occasions.

Sir Alex's all-time Premier League record stands at 528 wins from 810 matches and a total of 1,752 points. He was named manager of the season 11 times and won the monthly award 27 times.

Arsenal's former manager, Arsene Wenger will be remembered for leading the Gunners to an Invincible season. The North London won the league without losing any game and also went on a remarkable unbeaten 49 games during the 2003/04 season.

Wenger managed 828 Premier League matches, including 476 wins and 199 draws. He was voted manager of the season in 1998, 2002 and 2004.

There is an issue because it requires a lot of people and it is still expensive. VAR is a useful aid and it must remain to make more fair decisions. Before there were 93 per cent fair decisions and today it is 97 per cent. So that's hundreds of decisions over an entire championship. It is important.

But many responses who were negative came out because they had not completely seen the whole concept. This concept, of course, every two years a World Cup makes only sense if you see the whole proposal and if you regroup the qualifiers.

Wenger is currently the head of FIFA's global development of football. He was appointed into the office in 2019, a year after he left his position as the coach of Arsenal after 22 years.

I think, i have gotten a positive response, but this decision is a democratic decision and will be made by the 211 countries who are affiliated to FIFA. I think we will continue to consult people and that is an ongoing process that will happen until December. Then after that, it is down to the federations to decide what will happen.

If i was inside the club, I will sign with two hands for that program because it will give me time to have the players at my disposal and get their focus. I will say a better separation between club and national team football will improve the quality of concentration on both sides.

Let's not forget, if the players do not play in big competitions, then they will play in small competitions. They should not think they will not play and the target for players and for football to improve all over the world is to play top level competitions. I am not hesitant at all; I am 100 percent convinced about what I have proposed is the modern way of how to organise football.

Wenger was speaking at a two-day post-match press conference held in Doha by a group of former footballers and coaches who are part of FIFA's advisory services for the future of men's football. He believes the current calendar is outdated.

FIFA has in the past weeks focused on the idea of having the World Cup be played every two years, but most football associations have opposed the proposal.
