Nigerian Afro-soul singer, Aramide Sarumoh, popularly known by her stage name, Aramide, has dropped her new project titled 'Bitter Sweet'.

The award-winning singer-songwriter, who has not been active in the music industry for some time, has finally dropped something for her fans. 'Bitter Sweet' is a 5-track EP that themes about love, joy, and pain. It features Nigerian afro-pop duo Boybreed and DMW's prolific singer Peruzzi.

Aramide's latest project, 'Bitter Sweet,' which was released today on the 21st of July 2021, is a follow-up to her last album, 'Suitcase,' which was released in 2019.

Sound Sultan was announced dead via a press release from his family on Sunday, the 11th of July 2021, and since then, fans all over the world, and friends have expressed sincere shock and disbelief with their reactions.

Basketmouth, his very food friend took the news really hard. He shared a dark photo on his Instagram page before later coming back to post photos of himself with Sound Sultan with the caption:

For over 20yrs, not once did I see you lose your cool, a wise man, a humble man, kind hearted…a true definition of a good friend.

I will definitely miss those very early hours of the day that I will call you and share my crazy ideas with you, while taking notes as you throw in your genius touch.

You were selfless, discipline and professional, unarguably one of the best writers I’ve seen, a brilliant actor, musician and even though you never did it…you were one of the best comedians I’ve ever seen.

One of the most creative humans I’ve ever met, extremely intelligent, with so much love to give.

We lost a good man today, we lost a great man.

You were the best of us all and I will miss you so much.

I am happy to announce to you that after being an active voting member of the recording academy for years, this Monday, I will be inducted into the Recording Academy (the GRAMMYs®) Governance Board.

Magic was recorded in Jos where Aramide grew up. The single was Produced by SizzlePro and Mixed and Mastered by Olaitan Dada and VTEK respectively.

Giving Aramide’s love for strings, Magic boasts of a number of live Guitar infusions with Augsurg Habila on the acoustic Guitar and Preach Zagi on the Electric Guitar.
